Volunteer System Update
Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, the Beaverton School District will be using a new volunteer system. The Better Impact/myimpactpage will be going away and a new software system will be in place for the 2024-2025 school year.
New volunteers for the current school year should continue using the process listed below. Once available, ALL volunteers will be required to submit an application through the new software.
More information will be coming soon, and will be shared accordingly.

Step One: Join our Cedar Mill Database
If you are new to Beaverton School District: Fill out a volunteer application. Follow the steps to create a username, password, and profile. The background check mandated by Beaverton School District is included in this application.
If you are new to Cedar Mill Elementary: Email update_volunteer_locations@beaverton.k12.or.us in order to add your profile to Cedar Mill Elementary. Parents are not automatically moved from their former BSD schools into the Cedar Mill volunteer database.

Step Two: Find Opportunities
Volunteers are essential to the success of Cedar Mill Elementary. Opportunities can be found within your My Impact profile and include everything from Art Lit, chaperoning, cafeteria support, OBOB, picture day, library support & more. See our PTC Programs & Volunteering deck for detailed information. You can sign up to volunteer two ways through the Better Impact system.

2. Sign-in.
3. Click “Opportunities” from the top menu bar, deciding either calendar or list view.
4. If you are active at more than one school, filter opportunities by Cedar Mill Elementary School.
