After-School Activities
The PTC works with independent companies who provide fun after-school activities at Cedar Mill Elementary. These activities are not affiliated with the school or the PTC and enrollment in classes is made directly with each provider. Students who are enrolled can be dismissed directly to the activities located in the Cedar Mill Elementary building if coordinated with the teacher in advance.
Fall options for after-school activities begin in September and include:
Yoga Playground, Tuesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm > Flyer
Play Fit Fun, Wednesdays, 2:50-4:00 pm > Flyer coming soon
Historically these programs have been very popular with students at Cedar Mill, but they will only happen if they have enough students to sign up. Please register with each vendor directly (links and sign up information can be found in the flyers linked above).
Once you’ve registered your child(ren), be sure to coordinate with their teacher(s) of the change to the release plan to ensure that your child(ren) gets to after-school activities in the Cedar Mill Elementary building.
After school enrichment activities are the responsibility of the PTC After School Programs Coordinator, which is a role that is currently vacant. If you are interested in helping to coordinate with vendors to bring fun after-school activities to Cedar Mill, please contact Andrea Edgecombe at president@cedarmillptc.org as we are looking to fill this role.
The Student Stop
In addition to the enrichment activities coordinated by the PTC, The Student Stop, is a district-approved child care program located at the school. They offer before and after school programs as well as full day programs which include teacher in-service days, winter break camps, spring break camps, and summer day camps. They gladly accept occasional care students. Visit https://thestudentstop.org/ for more information.
