Fundraising

Our primary objective is to promote parental support for and in cooperation with the teachers and administration of Cedar Mill Elementary School in the education of the children and youth enrolled in the school. All funds raised go towards PTC-sponsored programs including field trips, classroom supplies, enrichments, and even ground updates like our school garden.

Every dollar helps this effort.

  • Dine-Out

    The PTC organizes several optional ‘Dine-Out’ fundraisers throughout the school year where families eat at a designated restaurant with proceeds going back to the PTC. Details will be shared with families via ParentSquare and in our calendar once confirmed.

  • Fun Run

    Our annual Fun Run is the main PTC fundraiser for the school year. At the 2023 Fun Run, students ran a total of 3,721 laps which equaled 531.5 miles! We are pleased to report that we met our goal and raised $30,482!

  • BottleDrop

    The Cedar Mill PTC is registered with BottleDrop Give. Participants can donate their Green Bag redemptions to the PTC by selecting our account.

    This month, we are also participating in the Holiday Bottle Drive. Starting Nov. 15, you can pick up a Blue Bag and Bag Tag from the Front Office. Collect your cans and return the Blue Bag with Tag to any BottleDrop Redemption Center no later than Dec. 2. All proceeds will go directly to the PTC with a 20% match from BottleDrop.

2024-2025 Budget

Due to the cancellation of events during the pandemic, there is a surplus that will be applied to this year’s budget. Any surplus in future years will be allocated to the Grant Program.
